What is metamodernism in art?

Metamodernism in art subscribes to the idea of a ‘meta-narrative’ or 'story of a story' whilst using the tactics and tools of Postmodernism and new Technology. Metamodernist art aims to experiment and incite discussion about returning to a ‘meta-narrative’.

Description

This metamodernism is a close-up of a white and brown logo on a black background. The logo consists of two letters, a capital 'B' and 'C', placed side by side. The 'B' is outlined in a bright orange colour, while the 'C' is outlined with a lighter shade of the same orange. There is also an orange 'O' in the middle of the 'B' and 'C'. The logo is on top of a colorful object in the bottom right corner of the image, which appears to be a bowl. The bowl is made of multiple shades of brown, and has a smooth, curved shape. There are also several shapes of varying sizes and colors around the logo. The logo is surrounded by a white background, making it stand out from the rest of the image. Overall, this image is a close-up of a logo that is brightly colored and stands out against the black background.
