What is metamodernism in art?

Metamodernism in art subscribes to the idea of a ‘meta-narrative’ or 'story of a story' whilst using the tactics and tools of Postmodernism and new Technology. Metamodernist art aims to experiment and incite discussion about returning to a ‘meta-narrative’.

Description

This is a metamodernist painting of a woman's torso, looking down at her from a close-up perspective. Her skin is a light brown color and her long dark hair cascades down her back. The woman is wearing no clothing, exposing her stomach, chest, and joints. Her facial features are not visible, but her body posture suggests a relaxed and peaceful attitude. She appears to be in an artistic, cartoon-like style, and the painting is likely part of a larger artwork. The background is a light brown color, and the woman is the main focus of the painting. Overall, this artwork is a visually stunning piece that captures the beauty of a woman's body and the intricate details of her features.
