What is metamodernism in art?

Metamodernism in art subscribes to the idea of a ‘meta-narrative’ or 'story of a story' whilst using the tactics and tools of Postmodernism and new Technology. Metamodernist art aims to experiment and incite discussion about returning to a ‘meta-narrative’.

Description

This etamodernist image is a cartoon-like illustration of a machine, with a bright and colorful palette. The main colors in the artwork are pink, black and white, with some green accents. The object has a blurry face, likely a person, and a few other blurry elements. The background is mainly pink in color, and the foreground is mainly black. This metamodern work has a dynamic feel to it, with the bright colors, and the contrast between the blurred and sharp elements. The object has a very geometric shape to it, with a few curves and angles. It is likely a product, or a piece of machinery. The work could be used to illustrate concepts like engineering, technology, and innovation. Its bright colors and dynamic feel could also be used to illustrate concepts of creativity, joy, and happiness.
